JetBlue to Bogota...No Return Flights

I was just trying to check fares for February (service is set to begin January 29th), but the web site will not allow you to select a return flight. So I called the customer service number and after almost 20 minutes of being switched to other reps an being on hold, I was told the Colombian Govt. has not yet approved service form Bogota to the states for JetBlue!!! Of course I complained that they can't advertise a service they don't yet offer...Yadda yadda. Don't waste you time with these guys.

You can buy a round trip ticket originating in the US. You just can't buy a one way from Bogota yet, they are waiting for some paperwork to go through. Hopefully it won't be long.

You think so, LaHuella? Go on their website and try booking a round trip ticket. It won't let you, thats what predicated me calling them, I was trying to book Chicago to Bogota in Feb.

Must be because I'm trying to book a connecting flight departing Chicago. But that doesn't jive with what they told me on the phone, that they were waiting for approval from Colombian Gov. I'll try booking another airline from Chicago to Orlando to get that $200 dollar R/T to Bogota. Thanks Aleez

does anyone other than the domestic airlines arrive at a good time? Price is more important to me but all the USA etas all seem to be at night same to MDE but I'm sure those night slots are way cheaper which allows airlines like jetblue to give us better fares

Continental now offers a Red Eye from Bogota to Houston : Same dumb ass price as their Normal Morning Flight. I hate US based Airlines !

Tried to book a BOG to MCO round trip for Feb. and their site would not take it ...
