I'm going to visit Isla de San Andres in the late December. From what I read, San Luis seems to be a lovely village and I'm thinking about staying there a couple of days before heading for Providencia. I also intend to spend the New Year in one of the mentioned islands.
I'd love to hear your experience, ideas and recommendations.
Thanks!!

We stayed at The Decameron Aquarium which was great, and very handy to town for shopping or tours. I haven't been to Providencia, but from what I have heard it is a lot nicer, a lot less crowded and no urban ghettos like San Andres. tried to think of something deep to write here.. but couldn't think of anything.. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

It is where when the waves come on shore, the water shots up through this channel. Some dudes have a little cantina there. Their wives cook the black crab. They also have excellent lobster. Try one of the freshly made coco-locos. sweet !!
