I was informed that the US Embassy in Colombia gives visas to students going on tours, but that is very limited. That it only allows to travel with the group and only to the places specified.
Is there such a thing? I always though that tourist visas were given on months or years.

Gator says on Jun 21, 2006, 07:32: It's Called... the Group Travel Program. Lots of paper work and requirements. The visa can and is often limited as to time and place. Like a two-week visit to tour Harvard, Yale and Princeton or to participate in something like the Little League world series..
