Is Santa Marta the most beautiful bay in America?

I always heard since i was a kid that people say that Santa Marta es la bahia mas linda de America(Santa Marta is the most beautiful bay in America), I been there so many times, and it looks good, but i cant compare since i havent been to other beaches in America, only the ones in the US and in Colombia, what do you guys think?

It ain't close. Some that come to mind. Rio, San Diego, SF, multiple bays up and down the East and West coast of the USA. Oh and many in Central Amer. and Mexico.

For me, the nicest beach is Long Beach Natioal Park, Vancouver Island. You could have a F1 race on that beach.

here, judge for yourselves, but whenever you have mountains reaching all the to the sea, it always makes for spectacular vistas.

Santa Marta,is not very good at all,but better than Carta,the park about 20 minutes away has a lot better beaches,
Some of my favorites are these ,but then I don't like beaches with all the hotels and apartments on it ,as you can see in the Rio one ,
But USA Mexico Panama(Colombia)Fiji,tas,Thailand ,plus 100s more if I look though my photos ,I would not write home about Santa marta.

Any one know Tasmania ,when I'm there I can drive to this beach and never see another person ,this is the kind I like
A nice quite place with a.good bar and restaurant close by,in tas just get the b.b.q out .

I´m sure that some beaches and bays in Asia are nicer than Santa Marta, but where does that of the most beautiful bay in America come from? but as billyb says the mountains and the beach make a nice view
