Is PBH up and operating Peter?

This is really just a test:

Security, Security, G5 is testing to see if it's safe here. Oh....it's just one of those security issues of mine again. I just want to make sure I'm not kidnapped from this PBH.

What did I do with myself? Well......I kind of disappeared from here even before this site went kaput. In fact, I think I took a break from here weeks before things went down.

I remember starting a thread saying things were getting very slow here. It was slow to log in, and slow to make a post. Peter answered and said, he thought all was well. Then Kat, and a few others agreed with me and I figured that this was rediculous....I'm not going to wait forever to participate in a message board. So I figured that enough people would complain, Peter would get it fixed despite his contention that things were OK, and thrn in a week or two I would check in. Well, I did check in a week or so later and the next thing I knew, the things went from bad to worse and nothing worked.

I emailed Peter but he did not answer. I emailed UTC, and he filled me in on things. In the meantime, back to your original question....I did a heck of a lot of posting on the message board for parrots. Things are always pretty civil there. Well, they were civil until I told some women to quit letting their soft hearts exagerate the degree of danger when they thought they had to sterilze all the veggies before giving it to their birds or else their birds might get sick. They did not attack me directly. One lady started another thread referencing my comment and how she did not appreciate it but she never mentioned me by name, so I left it alone.

Anyway, Colombiche....I'm fine and I hope you are too

It did not take long I was just hoping for a different set of idiotic people. Spelling errors, typing errors, mother in combat boots, father in dresses...

But just for the record Ringodiego, I was the first person to post here again...SINCE THIS SITE CAME BACK UP. If you have a hard time with simple arithmetic, that is your problem. At the time I started this thread, every other thread and post was 4 or more weeks ago. Or to look at it another way, with the exception of the 4 week old threads, this thread is the oldest one. Every other thread was started after this one.....Can you count my man?

RingoDiego.....honestly There was a part of me that missed a good knock em' down debate too. (If you can call it a debate). No.....forget about Monpirri, he abandonded me shortly before the World Cup. I stated a thread (the longest one in the history of this site) that went on for like 8 pages, and Monpirri refused to make one post. I would rather see you find Juanalejo. I may not agree with him much, but when it comes to Bogota, he knows his stuff. I always give him more credit than he gives me, he can never find it within him to give me credit for anything. But thats OK, I'll get him our for a beer some day and I think we can be civil. I see it within him.

Anyway, things are really moving quicker here. Good Job Peter.

Monpirri says on Sep 22, 2006, 18:53:

Gomezman5 You're incompetent in Colombian affairs; your knowledge about Colombia is based on your regional affiliation in the states or basically it amounts to nothing. You, however, may be the best immigration lawyer in your city, but you do not know squat about Colombia, and I say this with assertion and based only and solely on the replies that you have posted on previous topics about Colombia.

I did not abandon this site because I consider PBH an important source of information about Colombia and a site completely different from the conventional news about Colombia, the news that we usually hear on the conventional media.
I love soccer and follow it very close when Colombian soccer team plays in the World Cups or in Copa Libertadores and in other tournaments. I keep track where our players are being contracted around world (See thread about Colombia soccer players in other foreign teams and the topic was posted way before you decided to take the important task of the World Cup 2006) I even taped very important soccer matches when Colombia debuted on previous games. I choose not to participate in the World Cup 2006 thread that you started for two reasons: 1. You do not know much about Colombia or about the Colombian soccer team. The second reason, it's very obvious.

By the way, as I said before, you are not my competitor because we have different backgrounds and knowledge about Colombia; therefore I do not like to engage in the so-called “debates with you because I do not enjoy talking with someone who doe not know what’s going on.

Welcome back Monpirri I knew that could find a way to drag you back into at least one more discourse despite my incompetence on Colombian affairs, and my "regional affiliation with.........oh whatever. It's just nice to know that we have not changed. Some things should never change monpirri. And I think the cordial ways in which you communicate with me is an example of that.

This line of yours is a curious one though:

"I choose not to participate in the World Cup 2006 thread that you started for two reasons: 1. You do not know much about Colombia or about the Colombian soccer team. The second reason, it's very obvious."

I would have to stay up a month of Sunday's to understand why (according to you anyway) my lack of knowledge about Colombia or the Colombian soccer team would prevent you from participating in a thread about the WORLD CUP? Colombia was not even an issue in the World Cup. The only thing that Colombia contributed/participated in at the World Cup was one referee. But you see, that impecable logic of yours, that seems to guide you in your decision making is what I and many others just can't seem to understand. Hmmmm. That is like saying, "I don't drive a car because I am a vegetarian." One more time.....let me sort this out. You did not participate in the soccer thread because I am incompetent as to Colombian affaris, yet Colombia did not participate so........oh forget it. And the other reason that you did not participate in the thread, which you claim is an obvious reason, was not so obvious to me. I'm sorry Monpirri...it must be that incompetence problem of mine that prevents me from knowing that other "obvious" reason.

Well Monpirri, I am just happy to know that you are alive and well, and that you will have many more opportunities to enlighten me in the future. There might be hope for me in the little world of yours. By the way, do you still sing "Twinkle Twinkle little star" before you go to bed at night? I think you should. It might help you with that logic problem of yours.

Ringodiego You are back from your trip already? Hey, I have not seen your comments about your journey yet. Well, I'm glad guerrilla women from the Amazons did not kidnap you.
I thought Deportivo Pasto won a long time ago and therefore they qualified to play in Copa Libertadores tournament. Did they win again? If they won, do you know in what tournament?
I am sorry; I have not been keeping up with anything about Colombia, in states or in any part of the world for over a month and I probably won't be watching TV for another month.
