I'm leaving for Iquitos Peru next week and after that I plan on taking the Amazon until I get to Colombia.
My question is. Should I bring my laptop? I have been reading other posts and it seemed like public wireless wasn't readily available in Colombia. I'm also worried about it getting stolen from my hotel rooms as I travel.
I really would only use my laptop for email and for photo downloading.
Is bringing my laptop even worth the possiblity of it getting wet traveling down the river, or stolen from me? Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks
