IS it true?

Last night I was listening to Caracol Radio, and someone said (one the presenters) that in a poshy restaurant in the area of la Macarena, (Bogotá ) Piedad Cordoba was having a meal, and when people went to the restaurant and saw her they immediately left, and the restaurant ended up being empty just Piedad and her companion or companions...

I'm sure it's true.

well from what little i know of Cordoba Piedad she needs piedad i don't like her much either but as a leftist liberal communist or whatever she is you should respect her because remember colombia is trying to end the violence and when you start talking about throwing grenadas then it is violence which is what colombia is trying to get away from right?

I look at M-19 and how the leaders put their guns away to join the political process and then got bumped off one by one.

LOVE!

Whenever there is news about Piedad, she is always jetting off somewhere or eating in some posh restaurant.

She sure seems to be close to the poor people she says she represents

She looks like the Colombian version of the French Gauche caviar:

"Gauche caviar (Caviar left) is a French term to describe someone who claims to be a socialist without feeling the need to espouse an appropriate lifestyle. It supposes that the person is not really sincere in their beliefs.

Similar terms in English include limousine liberal, chardonnay socialist, champagne socialist. Hypocrisy is generally implied"
