I lived with my fiancee' 4 months, and we only had 2 or 3 arguments, if you could call them that. The 2 that I can remember the reason for, was besause she was very jealous of me and thought that I was checking another person out. I definitely didn't get a pass ... and it was relatively innocent both times.

My fiancee' got cat-called too, though not often. Probably 6 times in 4 months, and we walked everywhere, everyday. One line was, "Get rid of your brother", or something to that effect. Lots of whistles.
I am not bad looking and look young for my age, and I never ONCE had another Colombiana approach me while I was in Colombia with my fiancee'. (thank God) My fiancee' was asked politely if she wanted to dance a few times, she declined, and that was that. Vast majority of the time, we were left alone, and guys wouldn't even ask her to dance. And, she is stunningly attractive.

I have much more fun in Medellin.and also think the Colombians are fun to party with..There more stuck up here in Miami and I can be more loose in Medellin..Cheaper too.. I would have to say though the ratio between girls and guys is better in Colombia..well where I go..I do admit there are some seriously hot girls in Colombia.. They take care of themselves and stay fit..Even on good weekend on Miami Beach with the bikinis out.. I can find more girls in Medellin hotter..than Miami Beach.. Anyways I go down to have fun and have a blast never had a bad or boring time..The people are nicer and friendlier not just because your American and they are trying to get something out of you..Wrong..I also like how they live there lives... For me its perfect but need to go with what I have My job in Miami and I am fortunate to go back and forth on my Happy Hour AA 923 flight when I want..to Medellin..Will be down for Thanksgiving,Christmas,and New Years to have a blast.. and Enjoy Life..

My friend Robbie in NYC is a chick magnet and makes huge money. He loves Miami and always hooks up with Playboy models in south beach. For him women of NYC are stuck up and hooking up with guys who make 6 times the amt of $ he does. He says the same thing about Miami (compared to NYC) that you say about Medellín (compared to Miami).

Medellin is not that Cheap....You can spend alot of Money Not that much of a rich guy..I actually have friends buy me drinks sometimes..I go down now almost every three weeks to Medellin so I really don't call those vacations anymore...I just like the friendly environment compared to Miami...I can go here in Miami all the time..and know some good spots...You cannot compare the environment from Medellin to Miami nor the people..I have a much better time not because I have more money compared to the cost factor..Its because I think the people and enviroment is much better..than Miami..Very jappy and plastic here in Miami been like that for about 5-10 years now..You have also a more uptight nightlife..as compared to Medellin I like more loose..and casual..Anyways I see what your saying too.. but having good time what I am doing..and I do see many New Yorkers partying in Miami more than ever they basically own South Beach..

Anyways Back to Work and Will be in Medellin Next week.. to have a good time..
