The Global Warming Petition Project, or Oregon Petition, is the fourth, and by far the largest, of five prominent efforts to show that a scientific consensus does not exist on the subject of global warming, following the 1992 Statement by Atmospheric Scientists on Greenhouse Warming, the Heidelberg Declaration and the Leipzig Declaration. The petition site currently lists more than 31,000 signatories.[2]

The petition was circulated again in October 2007.

the way the icecaps are melting, and the pollution i have witnessed in some undeveloped countries, its just common sense that the environment is getting fucked up, and we are paying the price.

why argue about global warming. i see people getting sick more in contaminated cities, i feel my eyes, and i have witnessed people get dizzy and nausuos sick to their stomachs in colombian cities.

the goverments need to change the laws, rivers are raw sewage and chemical baths. mortality rates from dirty air is sky rocketing in colombia.

Over earths life it has been extremely warm and extremely cold. I agree we should not pollute the earth but am more inclined to believe that global warming and cooling is nothing but the normal earth’s cycle. Even if it is made by man (very questionable and doubtful in my mind) I think its unlikely we can change the course as it is a byproduct of human civilization.
Some day the earth WILL again be uninhabitable. Weather its from global warming a devastating meteor strike or our sun eventually going out or super nova or whatever old stars do.
