Is £400 per month good money for an English teacher in Bogota?

Have been offered teaching job at private boys' school in Bogota. Hours 7am - 3pm, pay £400 per month. Is this ok? Enough to live on and pay rent? Can I negotiate as I am a qualified teacher?

A dumb question dariaj, I suppose you mean British pounds by the symbol you use? That would be a decent salary, yes. If you mean US$ then it's going to be tough.

That's a good salary 400 pounds is a good salary. If you're going to be in Colombia for any significant amount of time I would make sure to have some savings in british pounds in case you want to go to cartgena, san andreas, or buy something expensive. Its difficult to save money to buy things on Colombian salaries.
