Invite to my blog

I am living in Bogota Colombia for a year with two of my teenagers. Just wanted to invite you to my blog if you are interested. I try to update it every week or so.

(I tried posting this once and got an error, sorry if it is double posted!)

We especially enjoy looking out for things to put on the "List of things you can see and do in Colombia that you'd never in the US" It has given us lots of laughs.

I really liked the 'Why Colombia' section, this was my favorite part:

"The past 5 or so years, President Uribe has brought a semblence of peace to this civil war torn country. It has become fairly safe for foreigners to visit and live and travel."

I'm glad even foreigners have sense enough to acknowledge this, which is more than I can say for some of my compatriots.

Welcome to Colombia. Teaching Math in English is very important. It is almost impossible for the bilingual schools to find them. Be sure to visit the outlying areas not just Guatavita. The country side is where the real Colombia lives
