Actually, on Jay Feely's SECOND field goal attempt during overtime, which looked straight down the pipe, I turned the TV off while the ball was still in the air, threw a pillow across the room, stomped, huffed and puffed at how the 'Hawks defense let us down. I never even saw the fact that the field goal was short, that the Seahawks got the ball back, and marched down the field to win it. But hey, 9-2 is 9-2. All I kept thinking of was that Phil Jackson commercial "Never give up on your team".

I do get to see primetime games at least i do get to see prime time games sunday and monday nights i can follow the bucs play by play on the computer ..........Hey did you guys buy the return ticket for your fiances before you completed the interview ..i had to buy the ticket in advance so we could fly back together or take a chance there would be some available which i doubt being around the holidays .

call the embassy and ask how can you pick up / have some one pick up, the packet 4.
Call the Doctors and schedule your apointment so you make sure you will be able to get one.

I think to pick up the packet you need to buy one of the pins and make an apointment but I am not quite sure, so call soon because you are just 13 days away.

Good luck adn I hope you can travel together in the 15 as you expect.

You do not need to buy a pin or make an appointment to pick up the packet. Just go to the embassy around noon time. If you are not the applicant make sure the person that you send has a notarized letter authorizing them to pick it up along with the case number. My sister-in-law picked it up for my wife. Other posters have had similar experiences.

utopia I think it used to be that way... I had my best friend picking up mine with a notarized letter I sent her... but I've been reading lately that some people has have to buy the pin, that they can't just show up there and pick it up anymore. So I guess they changed it.

interview you need to call the embassy between 2 and 4 bogota time only on wednesdays they will answere your questions this is how i found out about my wifes interview date. and yes you have to buy a pin now and they only make appointments to pick up a packet 4 for tuesdays

Holiday Travel From Tampa There are some tickets from Tpa to Bog around the holiday. I am on the American Airlines flight to Bog, returnng on th Jan. 3. They cost a bundle - about $1,400.00 coach. None left on Avianca as far as i can tell. maybe Delta has some. Go Bucs!!! - (Even though I can't stand Gruden)

i BOUGHT FROM AA ALSO i ended up geting American airlines from tampa to miami than to cali non stop for $900 it was actually cheaper to get a 1 way to miami for $65 (seperate tik) than round trip miami to cali for $830 .than my fiance for us to return on jan 5th was $800 for a 1 way cali to miami.... i wanted to wait to make sure everything went ok first at the interview but it was the only way we could guarante we return together .

1. yes, the pay for a pin system SUCKS!

2. yes, even though bucs beat the vikes, their losing to chicago SUCKED for vikings fans.

3. you can watch all your local games by installing a slingbox on your tv system. they sell these slingboxes at best buy among other electronic retailers. do a search and find the manufacturer's website - i use mine all the time (it works o.k.).

4. yes, i purchased my fiancee's plane ticket well in advance. you can always change the dates (for aa free if using miles, $50 it's a normal cheap restricted discount fare type). it would be foolish to wait, the cost of purchasing only a day or two before your travel date is typically super expensive!

flight to bogota i always fly out of miami its alittle bit of a drive but its only a 3 hour and 45 minute flight beats a 9 hour flight from tampa plus its non stop and as of yesterday when i bought my tickets on lan chili it was 360.00 round trip for me and 750.00 for my wife and 2 kids 1 way from bogota on december 15.the bucs only play a good as the team they play

packet 3 yes you can down load it at the el savaldor web site only my wife took it to the embassy and was told she has to wait till the one came in the mail because they knew it wasnt the one they sent because it was in english any way i have the packet 3 from bogota if you want me to email it to you she only needs to turn in at the embassy the I230 pt 1 and the paper she needs to sign that says she has all the paper work for the interview.
