crazi4cali says on Jul 11, 2006, 06:18: Hey Davina... It did not go as expected... according to my wife, they were rude & barely gave her chances to talk or explain. We had all of our documents in order & she had emails for the past 3 years, a ton of photos (wedding, reception, my trip to Cali, honeymoon in San Andres & pics of me with her family). They turned her away asking for MORE proof of our relationship and copies of our phone records.

crazi4cali says on Jul 11, 2006, 08:28: Approved! = ) Visa approved! My wife's visa was approved today!!! She went back with 20 more pictures (like the first 30 were not enough!) But, atleast she recieved it. I do not know if they sometimes turn people away on day 1 to discourage them but, on day 2... it seemed like it was effortless.

utopiacowboy says on Jul 11, 2006, 09:29: It seems that they rarely deny outright, instead they tell you you need to bring more proof. Then you end up seeing a different person and away you go. I recommend going there if you can because it seems to make a difference. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
