Internet in Colombia

yes broadband connection with UNE in Medellin was actually down for three days straight Friday Saturday and Sunday last weekend and before that was back and forth for a few days. Was finally corrected Sunday night but that was too the international outage that happened. Was horrible could not use Vonage or connect to international sites. This week has been not bad so don't know and last night Vonage worked perfectly..

About a week ago there was a national Internet problem in Colombia. Our office Internet was from nothing to about 50K for about 3 days.

I use Satellite Internet on a finca outside Bogota and that was about the same.

There have been some problems because to of the main submarine cables to Colombia have been damaged and are still being repaired. These problems have been affecting all internet connections between Colombia and the rest of the world.
