Insane Trip............

I touched down last night and what a trip!!!
3 weeks in paradise!
First stop Cali, then Armenia, Pereira, and Santa Rosa.
This was just the first few days.
I enjoyed Cali for 8 days, then I jumped on a quick flight to Cartagena.
One week in the land of Volcano, beautiful islands, historical sights and great food.
Off to Barranquilla briefly, then to the ultimate paradise......Santa Marta.
This was by far better than other places I visited by far.
I've got a thousand stories from this trip and I wont bore you all with my fun, but
I might break incidents down in funny posts in the next few weeks.....
I loved this trip so much, I'm planning my next trip for as soon as I can.
August in Medellin might be too far off.
I'm a junkie and I need my Colombia fix.............................

Yeah, thanks.
Not as much luck for my other friend who flew out of Cartagena....
He was left in Barranquilla by a van driver. The asshole left with his maletas.
I waited 3 hours in the carretera yesterday morning for this fucker.
The police set up a roadblock and multiple motorcycle cops road in either direction
looking for him. They knew who he was from my description and were extremely helpful.

I don't have a clue, but they certainly tried and I was impressed.
I had to go to the airport for my flight and I almost missed it because of the roadblock I created!

This maybe one of your funny stories, but who was this and what did he do that the cops had to setup road blocks looking for him?

RUV....I explained above......a colectivo driver left my buddy (also a NY bombero) in Barranquilla without his suitcase or the ability to speak Spanish! He called me and I instructed him to find a safe place to crash for the night until 5 AM when the first bus leaves Bqlla. He got lucky!!!!!!!!

We plunged into the Volcano, took a hike through the mountains in Santa rosa, danced salsa all night long in Cali, chilled in Isla Rosario, ate the freshest fish possible in Taganga,
got harrassed by vendors in Rodadero, went to brothels in Cartagena, took a tour of the cafe in Armenia, got robbed in Baranquilla, let's see.....am I missing anything?
I'm sure I am........
Hey, how do you post pics here?

Geezzz sounds like you had one hell of a trip. Now that sounds like the type of vacation I would mind having. If only I wasn't restrained on where I could go because of work. Glad to hear you had a great time.

Sounds like a very interesting trip. Love to hear more stories.

You can post pics using www.tinypic.com; upload the picture to this site, on the right side of the screen it will give you four options for filenames. I usually copy and paste the second option, which saves your picture along the lines of [IMG]www.tinypic.com/filename7684.jpg[IMG]. To put it on PBH, erase the [IMG]things on each side, and type, as below. I had to modify it so it would show up, you must also put < and > brackets around the whole thing.

img src = "www.tinypic.com/filename7684.jpg"

using the filename from tinypic without the [img]s.

You can post the pic directly on the site, just add < and > around your first attempt, and don't leave a space between the bracket and the quotation mark or src and the equal sign or the equal sign and the file name (that is, only a space between img and src and nothing else). It's a bit annoying, and worse since it won't show up if I type in what it should be. I'll post your pictures and you can practice later.
