Not wanting to be a boor but was yanking la señora Betencourt out of an extented albiet arduous ecotourismo excursion and throwing her into the lap of world politics really such a good idea?

But of course, she, Ms Frickindrid has taken all the credit for saving the world, the others are not worthy of such a wonderful publicity... (If you know what I mean)

Douglas, it's the President of Chile, Michele Bachelet who is going to postulate her Nobel Peace Prize. I'd say she has a very good chance of winning it. She's a shining example of peaceful resistence that overcomes the most hostile environment, a jungle concentration camp. Her integrity, never doing her captors any favours and at liberty only with words of praise and gratitude for everybody who had struggled to get her free, for people who have prayed for her, for her President and the Colombian Army for the freetaking. Colombian government should make her an Ambassador For Peace to start with.

Yeah I support Ingrid and think her story is going to sell many books and movie tickets. But if she decides to run for president that is direct slap in Uribes face. Thanks to him and our military she is back with her family touring French and Colombian TV/Radio shows.
