same here I'll be moving to Cali. My experience so far is that looking for a job online is sheer impossible, no matter what kind of job you are looking for. I have read about a few exceptions here, but in general, they want to see you first before even considering you. You can round up a list of companies online, but then visit them when you are there. Chances to get hired are very good, but probably not for the reasons you would expect. Colombia has their own breed of fine young engineers. It is regarded a feature to employ gringos or other foreigners, demonstrating that the company is world-class. I was told it is the same for schools ... they want native language teachers to impress the parents to get more students. It may seem a risk to go to Colombia on cold calling for jobs, but if you have a financial buffer for a few months you should be fine.
