Hi, I would like to know where I could practice shooting in Bogota, and find a gun shop. I couldn't find any stores on the internet that sell firearms, and know they must be few and far between since guns in colombia cost a lot. The license procedure is, as I've been told, costly and timeconsuming but it must be done for a lot of people who have their own business, shops, etc.
Of course this can be terrible, since this is a great opening for a lucrative black market, which puts a lot of money in a bad person's pocket. But all in all in hasn't gotten out of hand in Bogota, to my superficial knowledge.

Expensive to buy and expensive to shoot-mine are 9mm so I sponge of the military. "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Previously I have posted extensively on the benefits available to prisoners in Colombian prisons, including libraries, conjugal visits, and educational programs. I don't believe any of that was available in the Turkey prison in

They only keep 9mm and 45 ammo in stock, and the military (via INDUMIL) is the only legal game in town. "I would rather die living life, than to live a dying life."........ Gator says on Jul 17, 2006, 14:46: As Usual... Platano is dead right-a six-months stay in La Modelo will most definitely show you just how much Colombia is committed to help you realize your social, family, work, and spiritual potential. Mr. Hollywood says on Jul 17, 2006, 15:29: Midnight Express I actually know a guy who spent a whole year in a Turkish prison for alleged antiquities looting over a vase he had on his boat. He said it was NOTHING like Midnight Express and not that bad, well, considering you're deprived of your liberty and all that.

platano says on Jul 17, 2006, 16:29: Gator, stop your whining... I'm just trying to point out the positive side of Colombian prisons. I cite the law, I give facts, and all you can do is roll on the floor laughing? Here is an interview that illustrates what I am saying about Colombian prisons (INPEC) wanting to help you develop your potential.
