info and websites for short term apartments in Cali

Hi everyone,

Anyone know any good websites for finding a short term apartment rental in nice areas of Cali? I have never been to Cali and am interested in visiting but do not prefer hotels. If anyone has experience with Cali, would appreciate to know your
thoughts about the city, places to hang out, things to do, the people, the women. I also hear it is quite hot there, do people dress liberally because of the heat? Shorts and t-shirts acceptable? Anything else a first time visitor should know? Thanks.
