Nice place, Andrés Carne de Res, but I think it's overrated and overpriced. It's a place for rumba more than a great restaurant.

More photos coming soon!

It is great for tourists to visit one time. But if you enjoy good Argentinian tango then you need to go to Carambola in Tabio (maybe 10 to 15 minutes from Chia) on Friday or Saturday night. Not as big and not as crowded and a little less expensive.

My mum want to go there and I don't know why!!!! when we got the best meat in LOS LLANOS!!!!

BTW I met the owner Andres back in 1989, a friend of mine introduced him to me, he took us to a place behind the restaurant I dunno if it was his house.

There's nothing like visuals to really get an idea of what a place looks like. Thanks for posting those images of Andres Carne de Res. Does anybody else have pictures of other restaurants? It would make a great guide for everybody here.

Mrgizmo, I have also posted photos of my favorite restaurant so far, Club Colombia, it’s my favorite because is 100% Colombian restaurant.
You can also see photos of Carbon de Palo in Bogota and Mondongos’ in Medellin. I only stayed in Colombia two weeks and I did not have enough time to go more places. But, if you check my previous threads you’ll find out that Colombian music and food is what I like the best!

Kat- I totally agree with you. Los Llanos tiene la mejor carne..DELICIOSA!! Mi tierrita rocks!! hahaha

If anyone is planning to visit los llanos, I would recomend La Talanquera..is almost in Guamal from Acacias to San Martin.

Also...para rumbear. Capachos is awesome.

Monpirri, again thanks for posting those photos. Carbon the Palo brings many pleasant memories, it's a great place for someone who's been out of the country for a while. Club Colombia seems like a nice place, I'll check it out on my next trip to Bogota
