In case of war (touch wood)

I suppose the most vulnerable cities will be Bogotá and Medellín, plus cities along the borders. Bogotá for being the capital and Medellín for been the city where Uribe was born.

The deadth of Raúl Reyes is not the end of the Farc, well maybe of the name, but groups against the law will exists as long as there is inequity, huge social difference and the big player illegal drugs. Now Colombia could extradite as many colombians as needed in order to satisfy the need to show results, but what results?

Colombia got enough troubles trying to control illegal grous in Colombia, to have to worry about posible war with neighbor countries

So, we will see soon if the brave move of president Uribe of killing Raul Reyes within Ecuador border has been a wise one.
But for now, people are putting down the party glasses that they held up yesterday and begin to worry about the consequences...

Amen Goin South....all is getting blown out of proportion. The president of Ecuador was briefed before this happened, then all of a sudden changed face. We all know by whom he was influenced by and has been influenced by ever since the elections there. The only thing Ecuador has major complaints about is the over flights of the spraying and the killing off of viable agriculture.
In the future, who knows...Down the road, Chevez remains in office, we can only hope Colombia does not become sandwiched for the shit head's political agenda sparking some type of border conflict! Sign me up....

El Tiempo should not be putting the picture of Raúl Reyes on the news all the time, what is done is done, not need to go overboard with the pictures of a death criminal, El Tiempo is acting like a "pasquin".

Those pictures only reminds the world about the "intromision" of Colombia in Ecuador´s borders, if any.

People from Venezuela need to clean up Mr. Chavez act before it is late.

That is right but illegal drugs and its users made things unmanageable

I understand the sentiment of wanting to defend your country, but when you sit and think about it, you'd be going to try and kill some 20 yr old Venezuelan kids who don't even want to be there, all to satisfy the hurt feelings of Chavez the megalomaniac, who is the real problem.

ColombianoGringo says on Mar 2, 13:07:

"That is right but illegal drugs and its users made things unmanageable"

Yep. Let's never forget that all the gringo and euro coke fiends are the ones ultimately financing this whole mess. I'm not saying that coca started Colombia's problems, but it certainly made them so "unmanageable". We would not need a Plan Colombia if billions in drug money weren't making there way into the farc's coffers.
