i arrived monday night and in bogota until sunday night. I like the city. It is big and there are a lot of things to do accpet for the fact there is independance day and nothing is open. What can i do that is cool ? where is a good place to visit before the weekend? all ideas would be helpful.

MacGringo says on Aug 8, 2007, 06:00: If student bars are your thing, 1500 peso beers, basic etc. Take a walk around Universidad Javeriana area in Chapinero. A few bars around there that you might like. A couple of discotecas around that area that were jammed at like 3 in the afternoon. Good fun to be had up there, especially now the universities are back.
