go up to llano grande...give yourself a REAL break. hang out at 'gualanday' you'll have a totally different take on medallo and it's surrounds. take the advise. don't seek out 'round eyes' or gringos, get to know real colombians...not those pricks and vampires who frequent parke lleras.....suck city.

aqelarre.............it's down on front st ?? down by the metro, kinda north west of the nutibara. one of the funkiest places in medallo. i mean funky. you won't see anyone you know, all have bad breath and serious body odor. however, it qualifies as a world class get away. far away. aqelarre: reunion de brujos.....what more can i say. there's also the bar with the two headed calf....also along the metro tracks, going the oposite direction from the nutibarra. couple of blocks. you can get fucked up just looking at that calf. real landmarks de medallo.

there's a couple of places in the mtns down by sabaneta, but my wife's not here and i can't remember the names...nor direction. real get aways.
