Mononoke28 says on Mar 13, 2007, 08:40: I don't know... ... but when I was in Colombia I really wanted to see a Mexican fast food type of restaurant, a la Taco Bell or even Del Taco. None of those places exist over there and I think they would do well since they are cheap and deelish. Here in Colorado we have a place called Chipotle and it is awesome!!! AND not expensive at all. Gomezman5 says on Mar 13, 2007, 20:56: It's rare......but I have to agree with Juanalejo. While we have our disagreements, there is one thing we have in common that is not in dispute, and that is we are both Colombian. He resides in Colombia and I reside in the US. However, there is one sensitive point that I know we both share, and that is when we here people, Gringos and others making jokes about drugs and suggesting that people become drug runners. I am sure there was an element of jest. However, some jokes are best unsaid. At this point, it gets old. There are so many people in the world, especially here in the US, that think Bogota is a big jungle, and anyone that has anything to do with Colombia must be involved in the drug trade. I work very hard to correct that image. For example, in my office, I have one huge pictural of Bogota. Of course I bought it at Libreria Nacional. It is a huge book with many brightly colored photos. People are amazed at what the city looks like. I wish I could find a similar way to get people to realize that Colombia is not a country full of mafiosos, and drug runners.

Mr. Hollywood says on Mar 13, 2007, 21:00: Electronics Research what personal electronics have the biggest price differential between the US and Colombia. Bring, say, 2 high-end laptops from the US every time and sell them for more than you paid but less than they'd cost in the US. You could likely make a couple grand per trip that way if you had the right contacts on the Colombian end to hook you up with buyers.
