IBAQUE, COLOMBIA

Hello All, this is just a person from North America, that has traveled to Ibaque, and I can tell you I really saw a beautiful city, in of course Colombia, where ladies are to me the most beautiful in the world. Not saying that other cities in colombia are really that much different, Let me stop before I put my foot in my own face, if you know what I mean !-smile.

I had a friend from Bogota, and we just drove to Ibaque one morning and had a great time, not as buzzzzzzie as Bogota, and in one to two day's it was time to travel, but to see the country side, and the Girl's, Go go Go.

Don't forget to go the verious Collage's/Universities...........You'll Love It.

From Cali, to Cucuta that's south to north, and all between, just use common sence and don't allow the news papers with all the negetives keep you away.

Call, Avianca Air Lines and plan your trip, stay at least two weeks and just go. Have the time of your life. If you don't speak spanish, just go to the nearest University and get your self some one that does. I did and we had a crazy time.
Oh, ya, young lady, and keep it business.....See Ya In Colombia----Some Where--
Happy New Years............................................

Someone once posted that Ibague was the "armpit" of Colombia - so things'll be better if you see the rest of the country.

The armpit of Colombia is very harsh for the place. I did not feel it was anywhere near that and I have been to several Colombian cities.

I agree with RJQuilla...Ibagué is a nice city. It certainly is not the "armpit" of Colombia.

tomtom33,
I was warned about Neiva by all of my Colombian friends: they said that just saying the word, Neiva, was enough to make you start sweating because it was so hot. The short time that I was there, it was mild and breezy. Ibagué on the other hand was quite warm and humid. The same cold showers that I cursed in the mornings in Bogotá were a blessing in Ibagué!
