Maybe it is just me, but 240mil per night is kind of up there for a place like Ibague.

That being said another very affordable option is:

I have stayed at Hotel Ambala its ok with breakfast. Hotel Centro is supposed to be good but I have not stayed there before. Its like 20 bucks a night but for Carnaval prices are probably up.

El Espinal is good as well, Tolima and Ibague are the places to be, I will be going as well. It can be a pre half maraton in Bogotá and Feria de las Flores in Medellín. monday is a holiday, other events in Bogotá

There is one El Pijao by the Tambora, but I am planing on staying in a Club Finca on the way from Girardot to El Espinal, or somewhere, I do take camping equipment just in case. But El Espinal is so close to Ibague, you could go back and forth, I want to go to La Caimanera, there might be something. Another option Florida Inn in El Guamo, closer to El Espinal than Ibague. I could always ask at El Parque Mitologico.

Saturday night I was at El Espinal, Parque Mitologico, Maelo Ruiz, Ricarena among others will be playing these couple of days left. Today I am at Ibague,. DW I sent you a PM, will post picuters later of what was a good representation of Real Colombian Queens, where besides beauty they need to show their skills dancing El San Juanero and plaing the instruments.
