First and foremost is it safe for an American to
vacation in Covenas?
I plan to visit Tolu and San Antero while there. Is travel by bus between these cities safe?
Would a bus trip to Cartagena from Covenas be safe?
If I were to stay a night in Tolu or San Antero would this be safe?
Are there any living coral reefs I can snorkel while in Covenas?
Finally, does anyone have additional suggestions for my trip to Covenas?
Thank you in advance,
David M

colevalleydave says on Jul 30, 2006, 16:03: it's safe David, I traveled from Sincelejo to Tolu by bus about 2 weeks ago and it was fine. I travel regularly between Cartagena and Sincelejo by bus and also have no problems. As for advice I'd say avoid Tolu unless you like Tijuana on the beach. Didn't go to Covena but I hear it's nicer. Enjoy. www.HelpDaveChangeLives.org 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

utopiacowboy says on Jul 31, 2006, 08:54: Covenas is very safe. The pipeline terminal is nearby and there is a a very large military presence guarding the terminal and surrounding area. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Victoria Maria says on Aug 1, 2006, 09:46: Tolu is a sweet, congested, little beach town. I was there last year and we stayed at a beachhome in Covenas. I am not sure what "tijuana on the beach" refers to- perhaps that you can find and do whatever you want and the party never stops? I think you'll enjoy yourself. Victoria Maria 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
