Barranquilla is fun, fun ,fun Ok There are many cool places to go in Barranquilla so I would not worry about Clubs.... Malls... Movies all you want....
Beahces Oh well.... I like to go to the beach but they are not the best ones, Puerto Colombia beaches are a bit dirty. Las palyas del country are good. But Hotel Prado Mar are ok For Sunday sun.
But there are palces like Santa veronica, Puerto velero, Caño Dulce they are good for a day trip.Not a n every weekend thing.

fun city. Malls, beuno vista. Discos, many around calle 79. La Quinta is good. Also another called frogless which is further away. See my post on this city for more info on discos etc.

Fun things to do in B/quilla Hey y'all, I've been living in B/quilla for almost two years. Though, over half of that time has been spent working over seas. Any way, I guess that I'm in the same boat as the rest of y'all.... I have still yet to "find" anything fun to do. Buena Vista is nice, but gets old quick. The beaches are alright, but as mentioned above, are not the cleanest. I generally just walk down the business district with my wife and window shop. Sometimes I'll also go to the public tennis court and knock the ball around with someone. If y'all have any suggestions, please let me know.

Juan, it all depends on what kind of person you are, if you’re a colombiano middle class then this web site ( www.lacheca.com ) will give you a real good idea of what well to do barranquilleros are doing for fun. But if you were born a corroncho and still enjoy partying in Soleded, el Santuario, La Victoria or along Murrillo, then sorry, I aint got no web site to show you, they don’t know from that shit but If you’re not the nervous type or don’t get easily frighten, then come on down to south currama, the places are ugly loud and hot just like the women, but you better know how to dance if you wanna get some ass.

I know that the beaches in Barranquilla aren't really all that nice ( I wasn't all that impressed by the beaches in Cartagena or Santa Marta either), but for an afternoon at the beach is Caño Dulce the best choice?
