I MIGHT HAVE SCREWED UP

Would there be any problems if my "to be" wife shows up to the interview....about 7 months pregnant?....just asking for...you know...reference. I would hate to be the first.

Would she be your wife at the interview? Mine was, allthough noone could tell (we went to San Andréas when she was eight months). I don´t see it as a problem.

Engaged We are "compromiso"...but will not marry until she becomes settled here. There is no question on the father, but I have concerns about officials opinions to see her in her condition.

we got married so long ago... that i can't imagine how it is now. from the stories i hear it is a real pain in the butt.

what with your misses being with child, that might have a negative effect on the interviewer. if i were you (obviously i'm not) i'd get married, now. to eleviate these issues. you can always re-marry here in the states. just to avoid b.s. issues. nothing wrong with marrying a couple of times. i married my wife 16 years ago, we separated, divorced, re-united, remarried and here we are 8 years after remarrying. it seems like we were always together, just had some rough bumps to deal with...which we did.

anyway, good luck to you and the burgeoning family.

I did see one obviously pregnant woman at the embassy interviewing for her K-1. She had been turned down three times before and her 60 year old gringo fiancee was there for the fourth attempt. They were finally successful. They did not sit together while waiting and they left separately. The next day she came back for the visa alone. She seemed to envy me and my wife with our normal (normal for us anyway) lovebird behavior.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.
