Does anyone know how long you can stay in colombia on a tourist visa?
Do you have to get a work visa before entering the country or can you do visa runs?
thanks

Say if one comes here on july 1st you could stay here for the rest of the calender year, then staying another 180 days the next year which would grant you till june 30. On arrival you are most likely to only get a 60 day stamp. You can get extensions, usually for 60 days (sometimes only 30) at the DAS, or do a visa-run. The extensions cost a little over 30 US-dollars each time. Once you sort out a work visa, you must leave the country to obtain it. You can do so in San Antonio, Venezuela, just across the border from Cucuta or at any other Colombian consulate. Mi alma se la dejo al diablo 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
