I fly into Pereira (first time in Colombia)

and I would like to stay a day 2 before travelling to Medellin. Firstly, can anyone recommend aywhere to stay in Pereira budget wise, and secondly, what and how is the best way to get to Medellin overland.

Thanks

Heard Medellin was fun at xmas . . so thought to go there. Also heard of the Termales and Santa Rosa, so now you mention it, I might take a few days, I have plenty of time.

Thanks

US$ 10 per night, can u ask for something cheaper? Hotel Ejecutivo (In front of San Andresito, that's a well-known landmark) this hotel has it all. Also, you can travel to Medellín by bus or taxi in a 5 hours trip for US$ 18. Good luck,

Every flight from abroad to Colombia must stop first in Bogotá, Cali or Barranquilla. That’s a national security policy.
