i can recommend this place....

I just thought i would this add this comment to assist anyone who is going to Cali, that i can strongly recommend the San Fernando Real hotel for a great quality hotel at a very very reasonable rate. I am english and came to be there because it was near my columbian girlfriend but having travelled a fair bit in the past and liking to be comfortable, i was very happy with it. It also has a great pool area with jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and even a little gym. I used all the facils and the rate includes breakfast. I had one of the cheaper rooms and it cost me approx $109,000 pesos a night. Not bad me thinks !
I was there for 13 days so i can verify its not just good for a one off.

and it is located near Palmetto and is next to the football stadium.
The security is A1 too. I miss the people there !
