mcheasley says on May 12, 2008, 20:04: MT, We rode the new tram in april.. We got off 3 minutes before the cars started swayin as a storm came rolling in.. Just in time, cause when theres lightning and high wind they stop the tram with the people still on it until its safe to start up again.. A couple of stations down the line we heard the announcements that the tram was closed.. It was well worth the ride though..

Medellin Traveler says on May 13, 2008, 03:28: Yeah. I would not suggest anyone planning on a trip to the cable cars if rain is in the forecast. Medellin Es Una Chimba! - www.medellintraveler.com |

lpdiver says on May 13, 2008, 15:43: On our trip last year on the other cable car line I sat next to a lady who had been stranded in a cable car for a long time and then to add insult to injury she had to take a taxi back down into the city. She indicated that the taxi ride took an hour and she had to travel through some really sketchy areas. "cook some rice!" |
