I am ready....Quilla here i go......

After 1 year and a half of being out of my country, my city, my neighborhood, my house, my bedroom, my single bed im going to Colombia….. Since the day I arrived to this country I have been thinking about the moment I go back and I see everybody at the airport even my dog, jejeje yes that’s the way we do there. It has been one week since i started feeling weird about seeing my people again, I don’t know what to do or how im going to react when I see my family at the airport, but im happy to go for a while and forget about this hectic life. I know im gonna get fat there but I don’t care, as soon as I arrive there these are some of the things I wanna eat:

Chicken rice cucayo
Arepa de huevo
Sopa de rabo
Churrasco
Empanadas
Lengua

Mmmm I cant wait to eat that food again. I am so scared as well, I think im not gonna be the same brave person I was before, now im thinking about thieves and all that stuff the news talk about…any ways I think after a week or 2 days im gonna be the same again. Ok Quilla here I go……..

Barranquilla still has her costeña soul, and I think you're up for a great return. Don't worry about gaining weight... most likely you'll do a lot of walking; and don't forget to add to your list of food that queso blanco costeño. If elmodofoque reads this perhaps he remembers the location of the street vendor who sells arepa llena de todo. He, his nephew Jhon the taxista and I ate there at least five days a week.
