I am looking for a long term (MONTHS) apt for rent in medellin.

Hi , I have been to medellin before but I was living at the house of a local friend there. Apparently she is gone to another country. I am planning to proceed in teaching english in Medellin, and now I am looking for a apartment for rent. As you all know teachers dont get paid well, hopefully I can find a deal here. The apartment can be small, all i need is a safe atmosphere, near supermarket, preferably near centro. Anything under 300 would be a plus. Is there such thing as a indenpendent 1 room appartment?
