Been thinking about your return to Colombia. Have you considered and factored into your decision you have lived your adult life in the USA.

The few Colombians I've met who have returned have been frustrated. They are much more critical with the Country than their fellowmen.

Returning expatriates find it hard to assimilate and relate to the new Colombian Culture. Many are not happy and long for a return to more familiar environments.

To paraphrase Thomas Wolfe, "You can't go home again"!

I love saturday nights at Che che cole and La troja, getting drunk and listening to Old NYC salsa. as a matter of fact i found a guy and his wife, late 60's, lived in NYC for 20 years and came back to Barranquilla, 5 years now and are TOTALLY HAPPY, they have a nice place in north curramba but party in their old hang outs.
i like hanging out in low life places but i'm gonna live like a gringo way up north curramba. As for gettin on lines to pay utilities and all the chit i have plenty of people to do that for me.
I will miss my fishing buddies and fishing in miami and NYC during the months of may and nov and oct.
But banging girls in their mid 20's will make up for that
