I-29F

Do you need to send a certified copy of the marriage certificate when filing the I-29F? Looks like all the supporting documents I sent for I-130 have to be sent for I-29F, too.

Yes, it's pretty much the same stuff. You can send a photocopy of the one you got from the notaria along with an English translation.

Thanks! Can I send a photo-copy of the marriage cert translation instead of the original? I had made photo-copies of everything I sent along with the I-130,but didn't realize I needed to send another marriage cert and English translation with the I-29F.

M.E.S.C. Immigration Services I think you need help. Most of the time it takes quit a long time to finally get the Visa. My company gets people the marriage Visa usually within 1 1/2- 2 months and occationally 2 1/2 months with a 100% guarantee signed in a Notarized contract. We get things done faster because I always hand deliver the packages personally and my packages are always complete. I even send the documents I know they will ask for later. This saves time and money. If you are interested in a free Consultation just write me and I will be more than happy to help you resolve any problems you may be having.

Hmmmmm.... I'm sure the visa service is a valuable one, but if you're talking about a I-129F/K-1 visa, I don't know how you can get it in 2-1/2 months or even 1-1/2 months when the embassy in Bogota will sit on them for at least that long, not to mention if you happen to live in a state that must use one of the slower processing centers.

Now, if you lived in a state that used the fastest processing center, and had all the documents lined up to send at the earliest possible opportunity, 2-1/2 months might be possible, but 1-1/2 months would seem more like an absolute best-case scenario than a rule.

How can your company promise a 2-1/2 time from application to visa when, for example, applications are taking over 3 months to get through the California Service Center?

I agree that "I always hand deliver the packages personally and my packages are always complete. I even send the documents I know they will ask for later. This saves time and money." But the government moves at its own (usually very slow) pace.
