Part B, Qustion 9
It has a space for "A#(if any)". What is this? Are they asking for her cedula?

Gator says on Jan 7, 2007, 15:56: Assuming This Is for your fiancee it is highly unlikely she has this number. It begins with an "A" followed by eight numbers. Issued if she had applied for student visa, work visa, etc. or, God forbid, been involved in immigration removal procedures. lpdiver says on Jan 7, 2007, 22:35: Just a helpful suggestion... NEVER NEVER NEVER put N/A in any blank in any immigrations form. You will stand the risk of earning yourself a RFE (request for evidence). All questions on the forms are applicable. For example where the form asks about former spouses...the correct answer is NONE and not N/A, assuming of course that you have no prior marriages. "cook some rice!" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Robert Jorge says on Jan 8, 2007, 19:35: Good advice lpdiver. But, there are several examples of when "none" doesn't make sense, and "N/A" does. lpdiver says on Jan 9, 2007, 16:20: Well They may have lightened up a bit ( I hope so ) but others have been burned. The names of prior spouses is the one that surfaces most often...glad to hear that you dodged the bullet. "cook some rice!" 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
