(Hypothetical) I AM IN TROUBLE IN MEDELLIN WHAT DO I DO?

I want to explore how to handle "trouble" in Medellin. Feel free to ad your own scenario's. Lets assume you are American. Little Spanish skills. And Sh^t Happens! Oh God! Now What Do I Do!

* Dating a girl, who you thought you could trust, and now accused of "date rape" or girlfriend sh*t.

* Tried to buy some "illegal substances", and oh god your arrested.

* Traffic ticket, drunk one night and have to pee behind a car, you pick that very beautiful flower and it turns out to be the national protected flower.......you get the drift.

* A girlfriend hits you and you hit her back but she says other wise, calls the police.

* A guy gives you disrespect in a club and you kick his ass. The police are outside to take your gringo ass in.

* Fire in your apartment, dial 911?

***** Many different scenarios.........what do you do in Medellin?

***** Do most / any have problems in Medellin?

***** Do the "rich" of Medellin have problems? What do they do?

Too many scenarios. Peeing in public is a national pastime in Medellín. It is practically legal. Cross that one off your list.

Juli........I was in Medellin for business meeting of 4 days. They took us everywhere and for such amazing dinners and dancing and music. A very corporate thing. On the way back on the last night after hours of karioke, by the VP of the company who invited us all........he had to go pee. 3 buses of 50 people each watched this head guy walk out towards a gas station or business....not sure as I was fucked up too and had to pee but held it so not to walk up to the front of the bus and make it stop! He went out with the tour bus guy and behind a wall........then from across the street a security guard starting yelling...arms up...in spanish.......they came from behind the wall and from what i assume is our party told the security guard to to go F himself. Our boss and bus guy got back on and we went to the hotel.

If any of us "gringos" live in Colombia...we may not have a Spanish speaking bus guy to save us and this security guy might get the one up...........

What to do when in trouble in Medellin?
