Hygiene

Yesterday, Londonmale had the audacity to criticize cleanliness in Colombia. Today, president Uribe is the victim of a "food intoxication", meaning he probably eat some sh*t. But critics in Colombia (and in some forums) are suppressed. After Londonmale's posts, someone quoted T. Roosevelt, praising the "man in the arena against the critic. Of course, the only thing that tells us is that a man of action valued action above all else. The question is, do we need more criticism in Colombia? After all, even Roosevelt called it “indispensable, that is, we cannot do without it. Do we try to do without it in Colombia?

criticism in Colombia It bugs me a lot personally. Many of the negative topics are tossed into the discussion or are used to create new threads without much real contact to Colombia itself. Poor hygiene was one of them, valid for many countries, and the warmer the region the worse it gets. Singling out Colombia is a bad move in my opinion and doesn't help anybody except create damage to the public opinion. Same with centering a topic about starvation and hunger of the poor on Colombia. Other nations suffer much more, but readers here only see Colombia in the thread opener.

It doesn't break the rules to post this critisism, but all PBH members are free to express their opinions about these topics, as long as they don't get personal. As openers of a thread they get too much first time vision, but I hope most make the effort and read the threads to get a less biased opinion.

Yeah, GIB, can you imagine the same situation in France! I never want to hear a positive word said about those wankers. We should have let the Germans have France.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

No Problemo I didn't notice any hygiene problem when I was there and that's pretty remarkable considering most of the people don't have running hot water in their homes. I would NOT want to take a cold shower.
