hunter...you out there?

i remember you told me that the 'casa de los cinco puertos' was no longer in poblado (lleras) well when i was back i just had to go and see for my self and lo and behold, it was still in it's totally funky way, there on the corner east of the (i think) body shop. don't look for fancy digs, not at the casa de los cinco puertos... nope, this is OLD poblado. and la casa is old. musta been there for 40-50 years. just a funky triangle shaped 'hang' there in poblado. it qualifies as 'real' poblado, going back before pablo. before, during and after. wouldn't be at all surprised if pablo sat his ass down there, did a line or two and had a couple of drinks. he owned a number of buildings not a couple of blocks from there, why not? we almost bought a commercial condo in the building (still dormant) across from oviedo. that's pablo's property. good thing we didn't dive in there.

by the way, huw, if you see ken, give him my new e mail and have him e me. you, too, as i lost my e files and with them went your addresses. thanks.
