how to get to bogota,colombia?

i live in texas, usa...i want to know a few things: how do i get my passport to visit colombia? do i have to get shots first? do flights go straight to bogota? About how much does flight cost?

How to do it Continental has daily non-stop flights from Houston to Bogota. That would be the closest city to wherever you are in Texas, there are also daily flights to Bogota from Miami, Atlanta, New York, Ft. Lauderdale, and Newark.

You don't need any shots unless you plan to visit some national park far away from Bogota or if you plan to visit the amazon region
