How much time between my NOA2 approval till my wife gets her visa

I know this question is someone subjective, but approximately how much time should it take from the time I receive my NOA2 approval till my wife gets her package, interview and finally makes it to the states.

Once the packet arrives in Bogota, I think it takes about 2 months to recieve an interview appointment.

I also have seen that some K-1 applicants are preparing all the documentation included in the packet from the US Consulate BEFORE they are delivered to the applicant. That is, go to the US Consulate (BOG) website and download the forms, fill them out, then fax them in....

I had posted a question at visajourney whether or not K-3 applicants should do this as well, but still have not recieved an answer.

Hope this helps,

FG

I think that K-3 people could do the exact same thing, Fred.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

Our k-1 was about 5-6 weeks from when it got to bogota to the interview date so pretty fast but it was the 4 months in calfornia that drug our timeline out.good luck

Look for "Applying for a Visa" section about halfway down the page. it will tell you all the forms necessary. Then take a look at this page,

http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html

They are all in .pdf format that you can open and print out.

Hope this helps
