How much Max cash out of ATMs in Barranquilla?

I will be going to Barranquilla again in June and am wondering how much maximum cash can you withdraw at a time from the ATMs in town? Last year it was limiting me to approx. 400.000 per day which becomes a hassle to try and withdraw every day or two. Any info? Thanks:

RJ I also got a preloaded visa card from AAA. I put $5,000.00 into it and could get as much as I wanted due to ATM limitations for maximium withdrawals but I could always hop to the next ATM and get more cash.

Just an idea.

Sounds About Right... Most run between 350/500 thousand at a time. Our Conavi account will allow 400.000 but we can make several transactions back to back. You can use your Citycard, and others I imagine, to visit different machines.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ADVISE YOUR BANK YOU WILL BE MAKE WITHDRAWALS IN COLOMBIA. HELPS TO PREVENT A SECURITY "HOLD"BEING PLACED ON YOUR ACCOUNT.

Daily limit = 1,200,000 pesos or about 500 USD per account, this will mean 3 withdrawals of 400,000 (maximum per transaction).

Davivienda gives 500,000 Col Pesos Davivienda has most ATM's and you can take out up to 500,000 COP per transaction, no other ATM gives you that much. Ther is a US$2 charge per transaction, but they give you the highest exchange rate. I have withrown two million 500 humdred in one day from my Wachovia account.

Thanks everyone - you are all great help! I checked with my wife and there's a Davivienda near the grocery store where she shops a lot so we will do the two 500.000 pesos withdrawals and see how that goes. This should keep our withdrawals to once a week or less. More withdrawals when we take off for Santa Marta and Cartagena. And yes thanks also for reminding me - I will inform my bank about the withdrawals and my visa card also (I will use it in some hotels and shopping centers if they do not charge extra.) The apartment we are renting in Santa Marta is cash basis only (but is a great price 150.000 pesos per night for a 2 bedroom apt. on/across the beach.)
Last year I tried a few ATMs but was limited to 300.000 pesos (I think they were Bank Bogota or another bank near my hotel and in a shopping mall.) I also got fleeced when changing dollars that I had carried with me (I only got 2000 pesos per dollar instead of 2250 (that I got from ATMs.) I already learned that the ATM route gives you 12% or better rate than cash! So this time I am not carrying any dollars and will use the ATMs to get the bast exchange rate.
Now, thanks to all of you, I also can minimize my trips to the ATMs. Thanks PBH - I will add a few more pictures to me webpage when I get back.

They put my VISA card on security hold almost once a month since I live in Colombia. The worst is that it happens randomly, hold being caused by the same amount of operation that does not cause an hold a week before! My Bank does not control the hold and both at the bank and at VISA call centre they do not have a clue about the rules that cause the hold. It seems that they have a bunch of monkeys sitting at their computer, watching at your transactions and deciding if series of events are suspicious or not.
Last month I was at El Tesoro in Medellin, both two books in two different library, eat something at a restaurant and bought something in the supermarket. All was something like 300.000 pesos. They put my card on hold! When I called, they explained that they were too many transactions within few hours...

Wow that makes my plan on using cash even better! Here somedays I end up using my visa card 10 times between gas, starbucks, grocery, liquor store, restaurant, online purchases etc. etc. - My card will be on hold all the time if I used it like that in Colombia! I like my plan of just withdrawing cash and using my credit card sparingly! Thanks for all your comments and suggestions!
