poco says on Mar 8, 15:56: Technically, there are no names of cities starting with "EL" in Colombia. It is debatable on how many places could be classified as a town. ColombianoGringo says on Mar 10, 07:45: The closest thing to a municipality in the US would be a county. Typically, a municipality shares a name with the main town or city inside the municipality.
