How long in days does it take to get visa

Hi everyone,
Here is my situation. My finacee has her interview June 1 at the embassy. We need her to travel to the States on June 15th. There is of course a couple of weekends and a Holiday on June 6. We are worried she will not have the actual visa by the 15th. They sent it DHL and she is in Medellin. However does anyone have a record of how long it took them to get the actual visa. Nothing we can do about it but hope as the trip is booked. We had to and pray.

CARD OR THEY WON'T GIVE IT TO HER. ANOTHER THING, DON'T OPEN THE LETTER, THEY SAY KEEP IT IN YOUR HANDS WHILE YOU ARE TRAVELING.. WELL IF I WERE YOU I WOULD PUT IT IN YOUR CARRY ON BAG, WE CARRIED OURS IN OUR HANDS AND THE ARMY POLICE AT THE AIRPORT WANTED TO OPEN IT TO LOOK FOR DRUGS,, HE SMELLED IT AND STARTED TO OPEN IT AND I FREAKED OUT ON HIS ASS,, LET THE DRUG DOG SMELL IT, OR XRAY IT, BUT YOU CAN'T OPEN IT.. AFTER I GOT A LITTLE POSTAL HE HANDED IT BACK TO ME AND WAVED US THROUGH.. GOOD LUCK I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT AS YOU WISH..

interview date but no letter in mail hey i need advice, our interview date post online may 26. that's thursday and the interview date is set for june 1 which is wedensday, there is no time for anything as far as the medical stuff plus it's a damn holiday on monday. My flight to colombia is tuesday and i can't cancell or get my money back. Can we still get in the embassy with no letter?

This is the link - one problem though - when you go there it may come up with one or two error messages (I got 2) just click on 'OK' and then go to page 2 - page 1 is blank so it looks like you got nothing - its freaky! Good luck

Cobra, Why did you buy the ticket? I think the letter should not be a problem but your fiance must have the medical exams done. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

well rayo, i figured i was going to want to be with her to explain to the embassy people that they did not give us anytime to set up the medical exams. I'm hoping they will realize that and have us do them and came right back.
