OK I click on the post at PBH for eyeglasses.....at the top pop up ads for "vision works" Lasik and other ads. If I click on one of them Peter gets a dollar and or a dime?
OK But how does this work? If the post deals with "charity", World Vision ads are at the top. Visas for your Colombian gal and ads for "Colombian Cupid".
Any details on this...?

sanandressi says on May 15, 2009, 10:54: OK, so like when I go to Google and do a search on a certain Hotel in say, Buenos Aires, innstead of getting the first line to be that Hotel's website, which they have, I get like Hotels.com or Expedia or something? So, who pays PBH Peter if I click on one of the ads you mention? $5 a click, what average of the people that click end up buying the service or product? Is it worth it? Colombian Cupid must pay a fortune for these clicks?

ColombianoGringo (Moderator) (Trustee board) (☼Travelguide writer) says on May 15, 2009, 10:58: The cost per ads can vary wildly. Some terms can cost just a few cents, while others can cost $20 or more a click. Whether it's worth it depends on your conversion rate and the resulting ad cost per conversion.
