Houses to rent in Colombia with a pool. Must be in safe area

I'd like to know some safe places to rent a house with a pool, in an area that is warm enough to swim, but not super hot and muggy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Safety is, of course, a big concern. I've been to Cartagena, but want this place to be close enough to Bogota to drive to and not have to fly. I've also been to Villa de Levya and love it there, but am looking for a place a bit warmer than that with things to do hopefully! I'm not traveling soon, but am just checking for future reference. Thanks!

I have inlaws that live in Bogota and when they want to warm up they drive to La Dorada Caldas.
I don't know how long it take to get there by car but according to them it is a very safe place.

Popular. It's popular (for those who can afford it) to have a house/ finca in La Mesa. La Mesa is pretty close to Bogotá, warm and not as far as the tourist towns of Girardot and Melgar. I've heard similar stories of further away Villeta and La Vega, but don't know those.
Greetings,
