Hotels in Medellin

Can anyone tell me of a nice and safe reasonable priced Hotel to stay in for 2 weeks in Medellin. I would really appreciate it. I'm leaving for two weeks in August.

Hotels I´d recommend any hotel located along La 70 Avenue in the Estadio area (close to the Estadio metro station). There are several mid priced hotels in that area, I remember a couple, Laureles 70, Lukas and probably the best is La Florida. There are two other but I don´t remember the name, you don´t need a reservation unless you arrive the first week of august when we have here the Feria de Flores Festival.

Intercontinental Hotel I stay there it is safe in a very nice area. It has; good security, a/c, hot water (very important in Medellin). If you make your reservation on the internet at least two weeks in advance rates are much cheaper. Starting rate per room is about $80.00 USD plus tax of course they have suites that cost $250 to $300 a day.

Good luck,
