Santa Fe De Antiqouia is great! They built a tunnel last year so it takes less than an hour to get there. It is the oldest town in the region, founded in 1541. They have lots of hosterias/hotels you can spend the day or night and enjoy the pools and the great town. You can take a nice horse back ride through the hills and mountains.

Also, 6KM from the town is Puente De Occidente, one of the first suspension bridges in the world. Cars can go over it and you can get out and walk on the pedestrian part of it and take some great pictures.

Things to do a little closer in Medellin would be Pueblito Paisa - the tiny village replica of Medellín with a church and a few shops has a great view for pictures! It is awesome during Christmas as it is all lit up and hundreds of vendors and thousands of people. Take a ride on the Metro Cable, enclosed gondola that goes all the way to the top of the mountain, quite a great view and a must see! Botero Museum is on top of most tourist lists, great to see one time!
